NDT aims to develop organizational and institutional capacities of rural and urban marginalized communities. NDT is guided by approaches that emphasize people centeredness and people’s participation. We continuously learn and reflect towards innovative development practices.
NDT envisages self-reliant communities. A society that is made up of self-reliant communities capable of self-management and able in determining their own destiny by mobilizing local andexternal resources and promoting participatory and more equitable development.

WHAT DOES NDT STAND FOR?
NDT stands for Namibia Development Trust. It is an indigenous non-governmental organization. It was founded in 1987 as a welfare organization to channel aid from the European Commission to “Victims of Apartheid”. It later transformed itself in playing an active role in community development.
On 21 st March 1989 NDT is registered in terms of the Trusts Monies Act of 1934. Registration number T64/94
